The Creative Collaboration Market

We are working with Pedddle – who promote markets and independent artisan traders across the UK – to pull together an online virtual market opportunity for Global Creative Collaboration Day on 26th September 2020.

We see this as an excellent opportunity to promote you, our awesome artisans, our events and give a pivotal boost to #ArtisansOnline – our online marketplace.

Pedddle have run several successful online markets with individual platforms, this time it will be a collaboration of a selection of market operators from around the UK and Europe, including ours. As this is the first time we have been involved directly with a virtual online market, the cost for the virtual market will be kept low; Non Pedddle Members £20.00, Pedddle Standard Membership £16.50 and Pedddle Premium Membership £11.50.

For our virtual Online Artisan Market, we will be selecting all the stalls in the same way that we would for a physical event to ensure excellent quality products of food, drinks, art & craft.

The application link is below and those successful will be notified by email. To take part, we will give priority to those artisans who have a shop on #ArtisansOnline , if you do not have a listing with us and still want to be involved this way you still have time to join #ArtisansOnline which is FREE to join – just email me for the Set Up tutorials.

Alternatively, you can use your website online shop, Etsy, Folksy, however there will be an additional fee of £15 if you want to direct sales through these channels. It cannot be a Facebook shop or a form of direct messaging for details, because the markets have to be promoted in the same way. We want to make buying as easy as possible.

We see this as a great, low-cost way for makers to be creating greater awareness about their work, engaging with visitors and making sales.

The way it will work is that each market will run at the same time on the day. Pedddle will encourage visitors to dip into lots of markets so that we all get new visitors to our sites. On the day itself, we will encourage makers taking part to post on social media and be just as active in engaging people as if you were at one of our usual, real-world venues. So you must be prepared to work hard on your social media during and on the run up to the event.

As the market isn’t that far away, if you are interested in taking part, you will need to apply as soon as possible and no later than 1st September 2020. If we offer you a place, you will then need to complete a few details about your work on the Pedddle website. This won’t take long, and we will provide full instructions and support.

We hope you will be interested in giving this a try and promote your work online at this new first of it’s type event – apply here:
