Ripple Silver Pendant Necklace

I use reticulation techniques to achieve the unusual texture on the ‘fragments’, which are inspired by rock surfaces that I have observed and sketched. By ‘playing’ with fire applied directly on to the silver, (rather than the more conventional method of carving into wax models) I have been able to capture the properties that are unique to silver, resulting in a pleasing pitted, and irregular surface texture. I like to push the metal to its limit and only stop applying heat just before the silver reaches melting point.

As it’s a handmade product there will be slight natural variations to the surface texture, but will be as close as possible to the photographs.

Available on a standard 18” chain length, (trace chain)
