Masaledar means rich and spicy. We add a generous extra helping of red chillies to this sauce to provide the seasoned curry lover with a real spice sensation. Use it as a great tasting base for homemade Madras, Vindaloo, highly recommended with red meats, or just use it with your favourite fish or vegetables. Winner of the Great Taste Gold 2012.
Rajasthan, the land of the kings, palaces and hilltop forts, mostly desert. Due to its mountainous terrain the locals use a variety of wild herbs, rice and dried pulses in their dishes – foods that can easily be preserved. Rajasthanis are also serious meat eaters with dishes like junglee maas, a perfect combination of meat, chillies and spices. This is a speciality curry sauce from the Province of Rajasthan. Spicy and hot, flavoured with fenugreek to give an earthy aroma. Commended at the Quality Food Awards 2017.
All our sauces are free from the top 14 allergens, including gluten, wheat, dairy and soya. We do not add any sugar or preservatives, and they are low in fat and salt. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans, one pot will serve 3 to 4. Sauces will keep in the fridge for up to 3 months.
