A greetings card is a lovely way to say “hi” to a friend or loved one, especially if you can’t be with them in person. Sometimes though they can feel a bit mass produced and disposable. My hand felted greetings cards are anything but! Each one is hand felted and embellished, and each one is totally unique.
The natural world inspires my cards – woodland, plants and flowers, and the incredible coast we are so lucky to have. I use a mixture of materials to embellish them – I’m a real magpie! Semi-precious stones, silk, beads, card toppers where I can’t find a natural version (or if they really catch my eye!), and hand embroidery can all find their way onto my cards. I love to experiment with these little pictures.
When it’s time, I also enjoy making Christmas cards, so keep an eye out.
What I don’t do is tell you what you want to say – my hand felted greetings cards are blank inside so you can create your own message.
These square-shaped cards will also frame easily. I use the square IKEA Ribba frames – they fit perfectly, and are a stylish way to keep the card forever!
The listing here shows all my currently available cards. Remember – each one is unique! I can recreate a design, but it won’t be exactly the same.
