An original watercolour painting by Cheshire artist, Lorraine Blundell, professionally framed in a beautiful solid wood, distressed gold leaf with brown wash frame and double mounted.

The artwork is a signed original watercolour, the frame contains glass and is of a 60mm wide Italian solid wood mould finished in a gold leaf with brown wash and distressed to highlight the base colour and rigid profile. The artwork is mounted using acid free, conservation quality materials and is fixed inside a hinge mount and tacked to secure using the minimum of acid free tape at the top of the artwork to allow natural expansion and contraction and future ease of removal should this be necessary. A name plate is placed on the back of the frame making note of the framer and the products used for identification and also includes direction of how to clean the glass to avoid damage to the artwork. Only low stretch polyester hanging chord is used, proven to withstand the test of time and wool bump stickers are placed in the bottom two corners of the frame to enable air flow to the rear of the frame avoiding damage to both the wall and the artwork.

Lorraine is a member of the Weaver Vale Art Society in Cheshire with a preference for painting in the watercolour medium, she is also a Cheshire based bespoke picture framer, making sure that all of her works are mounted and framed in quality moulds and mounts that are best suited to compliment her artwork.

Shipping policy

With current restrictions in place, purchases are shipped on a weekly basis but as soon as possible after the order is placed and shipped using either personal delivery service, Royal Mail 2nd class or Special Delivery for peace of mind depending on the item being shipped and the location being delivered to.

Refund policy

If you are not satisfied with the item received, please notify me within 14 days and return the item for a refund. You will be responsible for paying return postage costs and remain responsible for the item until it is received back in to store. It is therefore recommended that you use a recorded delivery service which includes compensation for lost or damaged items.
