Are we alone in the Universe? May we have already been visited by other intelligent lifeforms? Many believe this to be true, and even for those who don’t, we as a race are still fascinated by the idea of alien life. This painting encapsulates the idea that we may have already been visited by extra-terrestrials, and plays on the stereotypical idea of aliens abducting cows in a fun way.

This listing is for a print of my Cow Abduction painting, one of my favourite so far! The original painting was made using a fluid pour technique to create the psychadelic background, with the foreground painted on top. The beam of light abducting the cow was made with Culture Hustle’s LIT glow in the dark paint, helping to create that sci-fi feel.

The print was created by layering and manipulating two photos of the same painting: one in full light to capture the background colours of the fluid pour, and one in low light (see photo 4) to bring out the glowing paint. The resulting print is a wonderful mixture of the best features from both!

This listing is for a PRINT of my original painting, not for the original painting itself. It’s printed on high quality paper by professional printers, and is a square print at 10.5 x 10.5 inches. This will be posted in a poster tube (both for protection of the print, and cheaper shipping costs).
