My 1st Great Taste Award winner – that was NOT a pie’wich (piroshki) – 1 star. It is also one of popular favorites with our customers because it is so easy to prepare. Quickest way warm up is to dry fry, some even microwave for 20-30 seconds. Others even eat it as it is – with a touch of mustard on it.
The Russians like sour cream freshly chopped chives on it. Me? With the frying pan there I add the potato cake and crack open an egg. By the time the piroshki is ready so is my fried egg and I pop it on top and enjoy for breakfast.
