Ashbourne Artisan Market (Malt Market) is a regular highlight on the town’s calendar and will take place on the second Sunday of every month plus some additional festive dates on the Market Place right in the centre of town.
Ashbourne is a market town in the Derbyshire Dales, England. It contains many historical buildings and many independent shops and is famous for its historic annual Shrovetide football match.
Due to its proximity to the southern edge of the Peak District and being the closest town to the popular area of Dovedale, the town is known as both the ‘Gateway to Dovedale’ and the ‘Gateway to the Peak District’.
Ashbourne Artisan Market (Malt Market) will be filled to bursting with eclectic treasures, delicious seasonal temptations and quirky handcrafted gifts from the very finest artisans of the region.

What to expect
Positioned centrally on the Market Place, a magnificent spectacle, an opportunity to browse stalls, taste the culinary treats, talk to artists, vintage dealers and designer-makers, or sample the hot authentic street food whilst being entertained by local musicians.
The artisan traders will have been busy, baking, brewing, preparing, making, capturing (pictures that is!), designing, distilling, sewing, stitching, stirring, cooking, sourcing, painting, growing and constructing.
